In 2007 Rene Krippes bought 30 acres of land in Rosport, on the slopes of Hoelt, to plant a vineyard. The Riesling was planted in 2009 and the Pinot Gris in 2010. Since 2016 there is also a plantation of Auxerrois.
In total, the area he cultivates is about 26 ares.
The slope is between 10 and 40 % (on average 30 %).
Riesling is partly cultivated on terraces, where cultivation can only be done by hand.
